Trunk Club offers a subscription service for men and appoints a personal stylist who picks up designer clothes for the customers based on a questionnaire and ships them for free. Customers can keep what they like and return the rest to their stylist.

Founder Brian Spaly told the New York Times that the online haberdasher was on track to slightly double its $100 million revenue in 2014.

With the acquisition, the online styling service will have access to Nordstrom’s UPS contract, thereby, speeding up the mailing of customized trunks to its customers, Erik Nordstrom, president of Nordstrom Direct, said in an interview with the Times.

“In the short term, it’s a terrific business that’s growing at an extremely high rate, and we can help them a lot,” he said.

Additionally, with the acquisition, Trunk Club members will have access to Nordstrom’s tailors for clothing adjustments, a service that it previously didn’t have, techcrunch.com reported.
