Mobile commerce platform provider ROAM has announced the launch of its next-generation mobile card reader technology, the G5X, the company reported in a November 26 press release.
The technology includes data encryption and protective measures, as well as a dual-track, multi-card type magnetic stripe reader.
“The G5X is the culmination of many months of development that incorporate the very latest security features and to ensure compatibility with the widest possible range of mobile devices,” Ken Paull, ROAM’s CEO, said in a statement.
