Visa Europe, Monitise Ink Three-Year mCommerce Partnership

Monitise gained further support from high-profile partner Visa Europe last week when it signed a three-year commercial deal with the payments business.

    According to The Paypers, the partnership will focus on the development of mCommerce solutions and mobile money payments. Visa Europe also gained warrants to purchase ordinary shares of the company as part of the deal.

    Visa Europe made a $37 million (£24.7 million) investment in Monitise in October of 2011.
