Five Burning Quesions on Loyalty: Loylogic’s Steve Landuyt

steveSteve Landuyt is the Executive Vice President for Loylogic, Inc, a Swiss company which specializes in global loyalty and reward solutions for the payment industry, airlines, hotels and gaming providers. He leads U.S. sales and business development as well as partnership initiatives to expand market share within key industry verticals and augment the global footprint for Loylogic.

We asked Steve to answer five burning questions on loyalty and the role it plays in making Loylogic what’s next in payments. Listen to the interview here:

        


 

Executive Bio: Prior to joining Loylogic, Steve was SVP of Sales for Citigroup and had responsibility for securing strategic partnerships within the private label and co-branded credit card division. He successfully established marketing relationships with national on-line retailers as well as played a key role in the negotiation to add the Amazon merchandise collection to Citi’s Thank You Rewards program.

Before Citigroup, Steve was Vice President of Enterprise Sales within the Global Corporate Services division at American Express. He had sales leadership and P&L responsibility for the U.S. Commercial Card Sales team in the East and Southeast regions with focus on corporations with annual revenues exceeding $2 billion.

In 2003/2004, Steve was selected for a global rotation assignment in London to help design the Corporate Purchasing Solution sales strategy for the top customer segment in Europe. During his 18-year career at American Express, Steve has held roles with increasing responsibilities in product development, national account management and new business development. He is a five time winner of the prestigious American Express President’s Club and a three time recipient of the national Leadership Award. Steve has been a featured speaker for The Conference Board, The Institute of Supply Management and The New York Cash Exchange.

Prior to joining American Express, Steve held assignments based in Rome, Italy with the boutique travel firm of Barberini, inc. as well as with Chrysler Motors’ International Marketing Department, based in Detroit, Michigan.

Steve holds an MBA from Thunderbird, The American Graduate School of International Management, a Bachelor of Arts from Michigan State University, a certificate of Spanish Studies from the Universidad de Salamanca in Spain and is conversant in five languages.
