Natwest And RBS Set Money Aside To Refund Distracted Customers
Natwest and the Royalb bank of Scotland have set aside the hefty sum of £10 million to refund customers who forgot their cash at ATMs. Instead of crediting the money into the customer’s account automatically, the two banks diverted the money to its ‘reserves’ account and only paid up if the customers ask for a refund. Now both are checking their records of the past seven years to refund those forgetful customers.
