South African Bank Debuts Facebook Mobile App
Customers at the First National Bank of South Africa can now operate their mobile banking application via Facebook. The only requirement is that social media profiles need to be connected to users’ cell phone banking accounts. Once connected, the ‘FNB Banking on Facebook’ application can be accessed by users from within Facebook and can check their balances, purchase prepaid products including airtime, SMS and BlackBerry bundles, and view Lotto and PowerBall results.
