Apple Wins NFC Patent

Records from the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office show that Apple has won a patent for a feature that would enable device-to-device syncing on its future products, Online Media Daily reports.

    The patent is for technology similar to that which is available in the Samsung Galaxy, and would use an S-Beam feature to enable data transfer between electronic devices.

    Apple’s decision whether to use the patent could be significant, as the company has been hesitant to integrate this feature in its past products.
