ATM Fraudsters Go Back To Basics In Ireland

The Irish Payments Services Organization reported 248 ATM fraud cases across Ireland within the first six months of 2013, which is 16 times more than 2012’s ATM fraud report, reported The Independent. The article indicated that fraudsters were skipping sophisticated techniques and are using traditional scamming methods to steal cash. The organization stated that criminals were using card and cash trapping devices, and other simple methods.
