China-based search engine Baidu purchased mobile app store 91 Wireless Websoft on July 16, according to All Things D. Baidu paid $1.9 billion for the acquisition, which was its largest to date.
The media outlet said that the announcement follows recent moves by Baidu to increase its mobile presence.
