Belgium’s Argenta Bank Updates ATM Network And Security

Diebold Inc, a Belgian ATM services provider, announced it is now supporting Argenta, Belgium’s largest financial institution, for ATM maintenance, reported ATM Marketplace. Diebold will update the cash machines’ software, and complete the transition of Argenta’s system to operate on an Internet protocol-based network. These changes will allow the Belgium bank to conduct real-time transaction updates.

Additionally, Diebold will offer monitor support across the network, which entails taking care of anti-virus software and making sure the terminals are equipped with the modern security patches.

“Our self-service solutions met Argenta’s requirements by delivering flexibility, functionality and personalization, while also strengthening security, streamlining network management and boosting ATM availability,” said Vincent Gheysen, senior account manager for Diebold Belgium.
