Berlin-Headquartered 9Flats Now Accepts Bitcoin Payment

9Flats, a Berlin-headquartered short rentals company, will start accepting bitcoin payments, reported TechCrunch. 9Flats previously accepted payments through credit cards and PayPal accounts. However the new support comes with fine print: The company will only accept bitcoin payment for customers making instant bookings, which account for 50 percent of 9Flat’s bookings. This precondition may be due to the nature of Bitcoin as there could be complications with accepting preauthorized payments with the newer currency, TechCrunch added.
