CFPB Releases Database Of 90,000 Consumer Complaints

The Consumer Financial Protection Bureau has made public its database of more than 90,000 consumer complaints.

The release includes complaints about mortgages, bank accounts and services, private student loans and consumer loans, and grows the CFPB’s public database from 19,000 to 90,000 complaints. The CFPB is also releasing the data as an API, and is encouraging the “public, including consumers, analysts, data scientists, civic hackers, and companies” to analyze the data.
