Former Hewlett-Packard (HP) and Siemens AG exec Stefan E. Merz was named the senior vice president of strategic projects at Diebold on July 25, a company press release revealed.
Merz will be responsible for helping the company with its long-term realignment plan.
“His experience and collaborative approach to strategic planning is very relevant to our company’s needs at this point, and will be extremely influential in guiding Diebold’s future direction and help the company realize profitable growth,” Diebold president and CEO Andy Mattes said in a statement.
