DOJ Charges 13 Anonymous Hackers

The U.S. Department of Justice has charged 13 suspected members of the hacker syndicate Anonymous for distributed denial of service (DDoS) attacks carried out in 2010, Finextra reported on October 4.

The attacks were carried out against major payments companies such as Visa, MasterCard and PayPal.
