Fab Opens Physical Retail Store, Acquires Massivkonzept

Online designing retail site Fab has opened its first physical store in Hamburg, Germany, according to TechCrunch.

    Fab has also acquired Massivkonzept, a German custom furniture site that allows people to design their own furniture sets. TechCrunch notes that 60 percent of Fab’s European revenue comes from the German and Austrian markets.

    The company is also redesigning its eCommerce platform, allowing users to access designs by room, type of furniture, color, designer and more, and wants to create au uniform experience across its iPad, iPhone and web apps.

    Notably, the company also tells TechCrunch that two-thirds of its revenue now comes from campaigns other than flash deals.
