Finnish Mobile Network Operator Rolls Out New NFC Payments

Savantor Ltd, a strategic, business and technical expertise provider in the payments industry, has announced that they helped facilitate the roll out of a new contactless payment method from Elisa, the Finnish mobile network operator, reports Finextra. Elisa selected Savantor to learn more about the payment cards market and new payment technologies. Sanvantor offered their expertise in the payments market and helped guide Elisa with designing a framework to complete the payment launch. Elisa’s new services offer mobile and online payment applications, online payment cards, a mobile app for contactless payment and money transfers between users. The payment method uses NFC card technology to support contactless payments at POS locations.
