Forrester: Majority Of U.S. Luxury Shoppers Expect Mobile Sites

Fifty-one percent of luxury shoppers expect the retailers they are purchasing from to have mobile-optimized sites, according to a study by the Luxury Retailer’s Guide to Agile Commerce.

    The study also found that 59 percent of luxury online shoppers in the U.S. had made a purchase via mobile site or app compared to just 12 percent of generic smartphone users. Additionally, it found that the average online luxury shopper is younger, at age 37, than the mainstream online shopper, at age 44, according to Luxury Daily.
