Google Wallet, Tabbedout Want To Buy You A Beer

As part of its ongoing effort to bolster adoption of Google Wallet, the tech giant announced a new partnership with Tabbedout on Monday. Tabbedout is the provider of an app that integrates with POS systems at restaurants and bars. In conjunction, a promotion was made available to pub patrons that take advantage of their newfound ability to pay their Tabbedout bills with Google Wallet.

“For a limited time, when a user pays with Google Wallet in the Tabbedout app, they’ll get $7 off their next tab,” a release from the companies says. “This offer will be sent to the user automatically, stored in their digital wallet, and can be redeemed instantly off their next tab.”

To date, Tabbedout indicates it is integrated with more than 10,000 retailers across the United States.
