MCX To Announce New Chief Executive

Merchant Customer Exchange (MCX), the growing network of retailers behind an as-yet unreleased mobile payments network, announced they will hire a new chief executive on Thursday, The Wall Street Journal reported.

    Dekkers L. Davidson, who formerly ran Barclaycard’s U.S. mobile payments division, will be announced as the new company head on Thursday.

    “The strength of the customer experience, the breadth of acceptance and the quality and security of the technology provide MCX with a historic opportunity to improve the shopping and paying experience for customers,” Davidson said.
