A new study released by the market and shopper intelligence firm, IRI, revealed that consumers in the UK lead Europe when it comes to buying food on offer and promotion, reported The Daily Mail Online. The report indicates that 55 percent of food in the UK is bought on offer, 69 percent of alcoholic beverages are bought on promotion, and 59 percent of non-food products are also bought on promotion.
