    Gopago develops mobile commerce apps with built-in point-of-sale systems. The startup was founded in 2009.

    Amazon has not disclosed the specifics of the rumored deal. However, Gopago CTO Vincenzo di Nicola told TechCrunch in an interview that Amazon is interested in Gopago’s technology for an “ambitious” project that has yet to be announced.
