Report: QR Code Use Stalls

Mobile Payments Today released its third annual “2014 Mobile Payments State the Industry Report” on September 26 revealing that while 95 percent of study respondents now own smartphones, only 25 percent have paid with a mobile device in a physical store.

The study released new information about how today’s consumers are using QR codes, finding only 18 percent reported to scanning a QR code to make a payment.
