Report: U.S. Trails China In mShopping

A new report from global advertiser Havas Worldwide and Market Probe has found that only 16 percent of Americans are using mobile phones to shop, Luxury Daily reported on July 18. By comparison, Havas said 50 percent of Chinese consumers had embraced mCommerce.

    The study revealed that 32 percent of mobile applications encourage in-store shopping and that 26 percent of U.S. shoppers feel comfortable with smartphone purchases.
