Sources told All Things D on July 28 that U.S. search giant Yahoo is close to completing a deal to acquire the California-based SMB-facing eCommerce service provider Lexity.

    Lexity is helmed by CEO and founder Amit Kumar, who previously worked at Yahoo. The acquisition would mark Yahoo’s 19th purchase under CEO Marissa Mayer.
