The majority of Nigerians who make mobile money transfers have accounts that are connected with their banks instead of mobile money service companies, reported All Africa. These figures come from a survey conducted by the NOI Polls that aimed to understand the adoption of mobile money services in the country.
The study shows that six-in-10 Nigerians (roughly 59 percent) do not know about mobile money services. Additionally, only 13 percent of consumers who are aware of said services actually use them.
