Sweden-based iZettle announced that the Visa Ready Program has approved its Chip & PIN and Chip & Signature mobile payments technology. This approval means that iZettle’s mPOS solutions software and hardware are officially Visa Ready.
iZettle first enrolled for the Visa Ready Program in June 2013. The program aims to help entrepreneurs and merchants work with Visa to being using Visa-compliant devices, software and solutions to allow Visa payment transactions.
