Bitcoin-based Crowdfunding Raises $125K for Assassination

This particular website is only accepting bitcoins to protect the identity of crowdfunders and assassins through their financial transactions.

Public figures are attracting donations of $125,000 on a website that is offering “Anonymous, safe, secure, crowdfunded assassinations,” according to Opposing Views.

A Digital Citizens report did not reveal the name of the public figure with the bounty, but some assume that its Ben Bernanke, chairman of the Federal Reserve.

The website is run by someone who is calling themselves Kuwabatake Sanjuro. The site says that he or she is motivated by “a deep-rooted hate against oppressive regimes.”

The person also added: “Once you’re on the list you’re on it until you die.”
