Global payment firm WEX, Inc. announced on Tuesday (Aug. 26) that its European division entered into an agreement with event management company Zibrant. With the partnership, Zibrant will have access to the WEX Virtual Credit Solution, according to a WEX statement.
Specifically, with the virtual payment option, Zibrant will be able to simplify how it pays its large global supplier base. The company can provide one accounts payable option with better reconciliation and increased process automation, WEX said in the release.
“We aim to consistently deliver exceptional service to our customers and suppliers and the new technology forms part of a program of heavy investment in the latest technologies and infrastructure supporting our expanding business model,” Zibrant Financial Director Fay Sharpe said. “The implementation of the new WEX Virtual Credit Solution will have a direct benefit to our supplier relationships and will enable us to continue to offer the best market rates and delegate packages to our client portfolio.”
WEX has a history of helping firms like Zibrant simplify how they manage and pay suppliers globally, said WEX Europe Managing Director Myles Stephenson.
“Our industry leading Virtual Payments platform is able to drive efficiencies on a global level and will help Zibrant continue to deliver excellence,” Stephenson said.
