RCI Banque group RENAULT, an issuer of auto loan asset-backed securities in Europe,announced last week that it had selected b-pack as its procure-to-pay solution. According to a b-pack press release, the company’s cloud-based SaaS solution was implemented at RCI. The goal is to help reduce costs by optimizing purchasing activities and outsourcing account payable activities.
b-pack Chief Business Development Officer and Co-Founder Xavier Pierre-Bez said in a statement that his company has had a very successful record of helping companies reduce their financial costs.
“We’re delighted that RCI is using b-pack to simplify and better control their purchasing process, while outsourcing their Accounts Payable,” Pierre-Bez said. “This project being a pilot in the group, we have worked closely as a partner to ensure the success of the deployment.”
According to the release, RCI wanted to automate and control the full process against its budgets – from the cart to the invoice using web-based solutions for ease of deployment. Additionally, RCI wanted to outsource the invoice process for all its spending, mainly based of services. Moreover, explained that it needed an audit trail and workflow management associated with “out of the box advanced KPI and reporting capabilities.”
