Security Flaws Spoiling Starbucks’ App?

A security flaw of Starbuck’s mobile app reportedly is creating a major headache for the company.

User data are stored in the app via clear text, which a hacker potentially could access and abuse, SlashGear reported on Jan. 16.

Daniel Wood, an independent security researcher, reportedly contacted the company but was rebuffed. After Wood released his findings online, Starbucks admitted prior knowledge of the flaw.
