As we inch closer in ensuring financial inclusion of the unbanked and the underbanked, it’s a slippery slope. Consistent efforts are still undermined by lack of access, infrastructure and adoption in most regions, even as mobile money and digital wallets are fast catching up in some regions of Africa and Asia.
