Intuit has acquired Australia-based OneSaas to help it integrate third-party eCommerce solutions into its QuickBooks platform.

Intuit said that OneSaas’ technology will also allow for deeper data integration into its new QuickBooks Commerce solution, which is aimed at helping small businesses manage omnichannel sales.

According to its site, OneSaas “is an integrations platform providing omnichannel sales data automation for accounting, fulfillment and marketing applications and their customers.”

The financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.

“The OneSaas team has built an outstanding data integration platform that makes it easier for our small business owners to manage and grow their business through new channels, and the confidence to make decisions through actionable insights that drive profitability,” said Alex Chriss, executive vice president and general manager of QuickBooks, in a statement.

Founded in 2010, OneSaas has been an Intuit partner and a member of the QuickBooks App Store since 2014.

“The OneSaas relationship with Intuit has evolved to become closely aligned over the past several years,” said OneSaas CEO Jeff Perlman in a statement. “Our mission has always been to help businesses understand and benefit from their own commerce data. Joining forces with the Intuit QuickBooks team is the right way for us to help more businesses prosper through eCommerce.”

QuickBooks Commerce offers a platform where customers can launch and manage their products across multiple sales channels, in addition to managing inventories, orders, and fulfillment. Intuit said the addition of OneSaas will help customers “gain even more meaningful insights about their business.”

Intuit launched QuickBooks Commerce in September to help small business customers adapt to increased demand for eCommerce amid the global pandemic. “Attracting and managing customers across multiple sales touchpoints is vital to small business survival — especially now,” Chriss said at the time. “Meeting customers where they are is the new expectation, but small businesses are not set up or resourced to manage this complexity effectively. QuickBooks Commerce helps small businesses grow by helping them sell across more channels while reducing the time they spend on operations.”
