GENCO Deploys Major Site Revamp

GENCO Marketplace, which bills itself as the largest wholesaler of retailer returns in the U.S., has significantly redesigned it B2B site, the company announced Tuesday (Nov. 11). The company said the site “liquidates more than $2.5 billion of secondary market products annually to off-price retailers, online sellers, liquidators, flea marketers and other entrepreneurs.”

    Among the key changes announced are improved search functionality within manifests, better support for mobile devices, additional areas for auctions and fixed price lots, improved security for wire transfer and payment cards plus better integration of new inventory—offered in pallets and cartons—and it’s now refreshed daily.

    The company is trying to encourage use of its site through a 10 percent off promo code (“Launch”) through the end of November.
