An announcement made Wednesday (Sept. 23) said TSYS will continue to support ING commercial cards processing through the TS2 processing platform. Their collaboration will most greatly impact the European market, in which ING provides banking services across 14 nations, the firms said.

In a statement, TSYS International President Gaylon Jowers said working with ING is key to the company’s commercial card operations. “The commercial payments space is an important sector for TSYS, as companies continue to look to work across different countries and need a solution to support their growth,” he said.

Working with ING Bank also means TSYS will provide additional services associated with commercial card payment processing, like fraud management and customer service, the firms noted.

The extension of its ING Bank partnership follows earlier ventures that see TSYS provide payment processing services to other financial institutions. Last month the company announced a new suite of services for financial services firms to more easily manage Big Data with TSYS Analytics. The move, the firm said, is part of an effort to provide financial institutions with a more business-oriented method of growth.
