Developed in collaboration with Kyriba, a FinTech focused on liquidity performance, Huntington’s new Intelligent Treasury platform unifies those distributed treasury operations and enables clients to view balances and transactions, build cash forecasts, initiate support payments and track payment acknowledgements, according to the release.

With these capabilities, Intelligent Treasury is designed to help Huntington’s commercial clients simplify treasury operations, improve cash visibility and manage liquidity more effectively across multiple banking relationships, the release said.

“The reality is many larger businesses operate across multiple banks, systems and sources of financial data,” Deepak Kapoor, head of payments product at Huntington, said in the release. “We designed Intelligent Treasury to help businesses reduce resources, save time and have information at their fingertips to enhance visibility and planning.”

Huntington, a top 10 commercial bank in the United States headquartered in Columbus, Ohio, operates about 1,400 branches in 21 states and has certain businesses that operate nationally, per the release.

“At Huntington, we are investing in payments to help clients adapt, grow and succeed in a rapidly evolving marketplace,” Amit Dhingra, chief enterprise payments officer at Huntington Bank, said in the release. “We are expanding access to innovative treasury capabilities that provide greater financial visibility, support informed decision-making and empower organizations to focus on the priorities that drive long-term growth.”

PYMNTS reported Oct. 19 that Huntington debuted a new operating system designed for small businesses. The 1866 Studio, named for the year the bank was founded, was built using Google’s Gemini artificial intelligence platform and will offer agentic AI workflows to meet business owners’ financial, operational and management needs.

On Oct. 13, Huntington announced that it added an international corporate banking group to its corporate, specialty and government banking division. Huntington said the expansion is designed to help foreign multinational companies and their U.S. subsidiaries entering or expanding in the United States use Huntington’s domestic platform.

PYMNTS reported in June that Huntington joined The Clearing House’s high-value payments network, CHIPS.
