Business-to-business companies are looking into ways to enhance their commerce experiences in the modern digital landscape. The partnership will let B2B companies innovate and expand their digital commerce abilities.

“As consumers, we expect to complete every part of our buying journey through any channel; digital or physical,” said Andy Stanis, executive vice president and managing director for Intershop North America. “And B2B buyers have the same omnichannel expectations, with the added complexity that comes with B2B operations. Luminos Labs are among the top implementation firms with dozens of successful, complex B2B eCommerce (replatforming) projects over the last 12+ years. This hand-picked partnership is necessary to the rapid adoption of our commerce solution and maintains our ability to deliver excellence while scaling our implementation and delivery capabilities.”

Matt Wozniak, head of sales at Luminos Labs, said performance isn’t just a nice thing to have anymore, but rather a necessity for a business to survive.

“Our ability to adapt to a variety of needs, consult and execute, and align business and Intershop technology, creates digital experiences at scale and delivers measurable results,” he said.

This comes after Intershop also recently bought 80% of the shares of software provider Sparque, PYMNTS wrote.

The deal also gave Intershop the rights to use Sparque’s artificial intelligence-based B2C and B2B eCommerce tech, allowing for personalized searches and product recommendations.

And Intershop also integrated the SaaS solution from Microsoft Azure Cloud, which it will offer to enterprises not using Intershop Commerce platform.

Sparque’s shareholders and incumbent management will keep the last 20% of the stock, but Intershop will get that too in 2026.
