The site delivers streamlined eCommerce operations, enriched data and deep integration with Halco’s Epicor Eclipse enterprise resource planning (ERP) system, helping the company better serve its digital customers, Echidna said in a press release.

“By understanding Halco’s business and the vision they strive to achieve, we were able to craft a solution that delivered incredible value,” Echidna President Mike Pierce said.

The website was built on the Adobe Commerce Cloud platform, per the release, and Echidna provided several custom tools and capabilities.

The customizations include enhanced user administration that lets B2B customer accounts define user roles and permissions, enhanced product admin that helps business users more efficiently manage product attribution and associations, and integration with Halco’s ERP system that provides customers with a display of real-time price, availability, order and invoice, per the release.

“With this move to Adobe Commerce Cloud and the launch of their new digital channel, Halco gains the ability to continually delight their customers with new conveniences, grow and create new business opportunities, and set the pace of innovation for competitors to match going forward,” Pierce said.
