Payment solutions provider for developers Cardknox is integrating with end-to-end payment solution firm Verifone to enable merchants to keep up with the latest consumer payment preferences for card-present transactions.
Cardknox strives to offer support for the broadest range of terminal options, and its integration with Verifone’s payment terminals M400 and the e285 helps meet the growing demand for cashless and contactless payment options, according to a press release on Tuesday (Aug. 16)
Software developers and independent software vendors (ISVs) are also targeted to benefit from Cardknox’s plug-and-play payment integrations for a wide range of point-of-sale (POS) and eCommerce systems.

Verifone’s payment terminals M400 and e285 are intended to help merchants attract additional sales while also providing customers with a frictionless payment experience. The terminals have high-definition touchscreen displays and wide-ranging connectivity possibilities. Multiple major payment methods are accepted, including contactless, mobile and EMV, per the release.
Mark Paley, Cardknox’s vice president of sales, said that the partnership with Verifone provides “two new card-present payment processing options” that meet merchants’ needs in numerous industries.
“At Cardknox, we strive to provide cutting-edge hardware options so that our clients can always keep up with the latest trends,” Paley said.

Verifone’s M400 and e285 terminals are meant for the retail, restaurant, and hospitality sectors but also work wherever a high-definition touchscreen display is needed for payments. The M400 is a countertop terminal for facilitating a multilane experience, whereas the e285 handheld mobile device has Bluetooth and WiFi connectivity and is made for on-the-go transactions, according to the release.
Cardknox provides payment solutions for in-person, online and mobile channels with support for a variety of payment methods.
