The volume of instant ad hoc payments has risen 28% since September 2023, with gig economy and gaming industry firms using instant payments significantly more than average. PYMNTS Intelligence’s latest study of 200 enterprise senders, “Meeting the Demand for Instant Ad Hoc Payments,” a collaboration with Ingo Payments, explores the use of instant across five industries.
