NEW DATA: Two-Thirds of Paycheck-to-Paycheck Consumers Faced Financial Disruption in Last 36 Months Nearly two-thirds of paycheck-to-paycheck consumers report having experienced at least one financial disruption in the past three years. The findings from PYMNTS’ survey of 3,708 consumers for the latest “New Reality Check: The Paycheck-To-Paycheck Report,” a collaboration with LendingClub, highlight these disruptions’ impact on consumers’ ability to put aside savings and manage credit.

  • 77%: Share of paycheck-to-paycheck consumers struggling to pay bills who experienced events that caused financial distress
