    Credit card issuers have been offering all sorts of up-front benefits for years to acquire new customers. But where issuers used to “hope for the best” after landing new accounts, Chase Card Services GM David Gold says a much wider range of features are being used to keep a card at the top of the wallet.

    David Gold has 20 years professional experience, primarily in consulting, marketing and business development, with a majority of time spent in the loyalty, rewards and credit card industries for JPMorganChase and American Express. He has developed and worked on numerous co-brand credit cards, including the United Mileageplus Explorer and Club Cards and Continental OnePassPlus Card, and helped develop the Ultimate Rewards program from Chase. David hold a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Binghamton University and an MBA from Columbia Business School.
