WEX Inc. has announced that it is set to acquire a European fuel card program from ExxonMobil, the company reported in a press release.

    The deal is moving through the approval process and no completion date has been made public.

    “Today’s announcement represents a significant milestone for WEX, as building our on-the-ground presence in the European market has been a key element to our international expansion strategy,” Michael Dubyak, WEX’s chairman and CEO, said in a statement.
