Former PayPal Exec Joins CommerceHub

Earlier this week, CommerceHub announced that it had hired former PayPal executive Craig Eckstrom as its Chief Revenue Officer. The cloud-based merchandising and fulfillment platform hopes to expand its B2B e-commerce network, as well as increase revenue growth, according to a CommerceHub statement.

The addition of Eckstrom is expected to aid in those areas, and also help unify the company’s portfolio of products and services for its 8,000 plus clients.

CommerceHub CEO Frank Poore said in a company statement that Eckstrom’s experience will help his business continue to move forward.

“We enabled $7 billion in online sales last year for some of the biggest retailers in the world by giving them access to millions of products and optimized customer delivery,” Poore said. “As CRO, Craig will create even more opportunities for retailers to increase revenue through virtual inventory fulfillment.”

According to Eckstrom, he’s thrilled with the opportunity and wants to help the company “scale distribution of its B2B e-commerce solutions and better serve its clients in the thriving, local technology scene that exists in the Capital Region.”
