    DSW Parent Designer Brands Wants to Double Sales by 2026

    Designer Brands is planning to double the sales of its brands by fiscal year 2026 by maintaining its relationships with its partners, who rely on the company’s omnichannel capabilities to assist them in its direct-to-consumer (D2C) pursuits, according to a press release.

    “Designer Brands’ mission to inspire self-expression is supported by our integrated organization, and this will meaningfully grow shareholder value over the long term,” CEO Roger Rawlins said in the release.

    Klarna, About You Partner on Easy-Return eCommerce in Germany and Switzerland

    Sweden-based payments services provider Klarna this week announced a deal with European eCommerce firm About You that will allow customers in Germany and Switzerland to use the “Pay Later 30” payment option.

    About You operates a website and app that the company says provide customers with “personalized shopping experiences.” With 400,000 items from more than 2,000 brands, the company’s sites and apps draw “more than 30 million monthly active users,” according to the news release.

    Shopify, Strike to Allow Bitcoin Payments

    Payments network Strike announced its integration with Canadian eCommerce platform Shopify, which will allow global merchants to accept bitcoin payments. Strike Founder and CEO Jack Mallers noted that the Strike-Shopify integration will also include offline merchants, including Walmart, McDonald’s and many others across the U.S.
