In May of this year, Snapchat raised more than $1.8 billion through venture funding. Snapchat has plans to go public as soon as March 2017. They could be valued somewhere between $20 billion and $25 billion.

Snapchat currently has over 100 million users, 60 percent of whom are between ages 13 and 24.
