This past week, the U.S.-based clothing company shared this with the public. It revealed a hacker gained access to customer payment information and installed software to capture those details at its physical locations. Any person shopping at both Brooks Brothers and Brooks Brothers Outlet stores between April 4, 2016, through March 1, 2017, may have been impacted by this breach.

While the information hacked included names, account numbers, expiration dates and verification codes, Brooks Brothers confirmed sensitive information like social security numbers and addresses weren’t compromised.

At this time, the company has not disclosed the number of accounts impacted.
