GEO for Education offers new security features, an improved reconciliation process for collecting student payments, and lower costs. The latter feature is achieved through a recent Western Union acquisition, the Pay 24-7 online payments system.

In conjunction with the launch of GEO for Education, Western Union announced the creation of the Western Union GEO Fund for British Universities. The GEO Fund is a scholarship program that will provide £1,000 in financial support to an international student at each of Western Union’s university clients.
