Square to be Cloned?

    The rumor mill hints that Rocket Internet, run by brothers Mac, Oliver and Alexander Samwer, is developing its own Square clone named “Zenpay.” While details are scarce, the company did reveal that it plans to launch the payments tool globally.

    And this is not Rocket Internet’s first foray into the cloning sphere. The company also launched CityDeal, a Groupon look-a-like, which eventually sold to the U.S.-based daily deals giant.
