    The company’s exact estimate is at $138.2 billion, which would represent over-the-year growth of 13.4 percent.

    Most of what consumers spend today goes toward accessing the internet (carriers often refer to this expense as a “data plan”). But StrategyEye expects about $70 billion to be spent on apps and media in 2012.
