PayPal Expands Payment Acceptance In Central America

PayPal entered into an agreement with Banco Nacional that allows businesses in Costa Rica to send and receive international payments over the online payment network, The Paypers reports.

    Later this month, Costa Rican-based businesses will be able to sell their products to all PayPal users. The agreement will connect those businesses to American consumers without requiring the creation of a U.S. bank account, the report explains.

    PayPal has roughly 110 million users across the globe.
